This has been the highlight of our trip to Austin. We had 10 people and got a van which was perfect. They allow you to BYOB on board. We went to two wineries which were about 45 min away from the city. Both were gorgeous and the tastings were generous. We then went to Salt Lick for some of the best bbq I have ever had.

Three of us had a tour with Byron in an SUV around the Hill Country (Wimberly, Dripping Springs areas). We visited Wimberley Valley Winery, Driftwood Estates, and Fall Creek Vineyards. Didn't have time for Duchman, but at at Trattoria Lisina which was FANTASTIC. Super fun, Byron is an excellent driver, and he is helpful if you need a little guidance regarding visits or timeline. Also, Austin Wine Tours (general number) was helpful in getting me started with a "short list" of wineries, distilleries, and restaurants as I planned. It was very fun, exceedingly simple, and we loved the wine and food!
